Betty Jo Balthrop-Ross

Services for Betty Jo Balthrop-Ross, 89, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kenny Harrison will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00  - 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Betty passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at Featherstone in Ada.  She was born October 21, 1934 in Bonham, TX to Harvey and Jo McCowan Landers.  She was an auditor for the State of Oklahoma.

Betty is survived by her three sons, Charles Balthrop and his wife, Rhonda and children, Courtney and Kyle, of Yukon, Greg Balthrop and his wife, Shannon and children, Robby, Kayla, and Lauren, of Rockwall, TX, and Chris Balthrop and Rachel and children, Clay, Caden, Halen and Brad of Ada; fourteen great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edward Balthrop, Sr.;  three brothers, Benny Northcutt, Haskell Northcutt, and Hobart Northcutt; and a great-grandson, Bryson Caster.
