Betty (Alberson) Hulbutta

Graveside services for Betty Katherine (Alberson) Hulbutta, 79, of Okemah, are 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2020 at Red Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Hulbutta passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Okemah. She was born July 11, 1941 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Joe and Kizzy Johnson Alberson.

She married Raymond Hulbutta in 1994. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hulbutta worked in the cafeteria for a daycare and she was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Prairie Springs Indian Baptist Church in Okemah. She loved to watch her kids and grandkids play kickball and volleyball. Betty enjoyed working word search puzzles, hidden picture puzzles and doing color-by-number pictures.

Survivors include her daughters, Miranda Pearce, of the home, Nena Fixico and husband Scotty, Okemah, Lucinda Fixico and husband Tracy, Okemah; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Harriet Hamilton, Sarah Alberson and Rachel Alberson; and two brothers, Ben Alberson and Leeman Alberson.

Her grandsons will serve as bearers.
