Alyene Pierot

Graveside services for Bessie Alyene Pierot, 84, of Tulsa, formerly of the Ada area, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Five-Mile Cemetery, east of Ada.

Bessie Alyene Pierot passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 28, 2018. Alyene was born on April 24, 1933 to Charles and Bessie Lamb Hogue in Ada, and was the youngest of five siblings.

She married Howard Marler of Ada and they had three children who survive her. They are Steve Marler of Tulsa, Sherri (Mike) Roper of Tulsa and Sharon (Byron) von Rosenberg of Byrnes Mill, MO. Alyene also had four grandchildren, Tesha Marler, Sarai Jones, Ryan (Heather) von Rosenberg and Erin von Rosenberg, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Later in life Alyene married Charles Pierot of Durant who pre-deceased her. Alyene was a resident of Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa at the time of her passing and had many friends among the residents there.

Alyene enjoyed traveling in the RV, gardening, and cooking for her family. She was a wonderful and energetic person with a smile for everyone and will be greatly missed.
