ADA-Services for Bertice Marion "B.M." Willis, 90, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Don Sayre and David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall. The U. S. Navy Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Willis died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at a local nursing home. He was born February 15, 1921 in Milburn, Oklahoma to Bertice and Melinda Raper Willis. He attended Milburn school and moved to Ada in 1967 from Wapanucka.
He married Mary Marie Isenberg on March 4, 1947. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2009. Mr. Willis was a custodian for Trinity Baptist Church from 1967 until retiring in 1986. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Navy during World War II from August 1942 until being honorably discharged in November, 1945.
Survivors include four daughters, Ruby Seamster and Adean Mathis, both of Ada, Ima Jean Winton of Stonewall, and Ann Willis of Portland, TX; two sons, Neal Willis and Danny Willis, both of Dumas, TX; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
