BERTHA ALEXANDER

STONEWALL-Services for Bertha Mae "Two Mom" Alexander, 100, Stonewall, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Alexander died Monday, May 3, 2010 at her home. She was born January 10, 1910 to Frank and Agnes Dunford Cochran. She lived in this area all her life.

She married Calvin Alexander on January 6, 1938 in Coal County, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1992. Mrs. Alexander was a homemaker and a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Effie Washington, Denver, CO, Brezilla Alexander, Stonewall, Vesta Johnson, Stonewall, Gladys Monroe and husband Thompson, Ada, and Iris June Fulsom and husband Arthur, Oklahoma City; one son, Ray Alexander, Stonewall; a brother, Rev. Fred Cochran, Stonewall; a sister, Brezilla Johnson, Stonewall; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beulah Mae Booker.
