BENNIE ROBERTSON
ALLEN-Services for Bennie Daniel Robertson, 71, Allen, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
Mr. Robertson died Monday, November 12, 2007 at an Allen nursing home. He was born October 19, 1936 near Fitzhugh, Oklahoma to Eddie Eugene and Mary Lee Tucker Robertson. He lived in this area all his life, attending school at Burr Valley, Clarita and graduating from Tupelo High School.
Mr. Robertson was a carpenter and later a maintenance mechanic at Solo Cup Company until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include four daughters, Cynthia Flippin, Centrahoma, Lois Kindrick, Allen, Glenda Gibson, Scott City, Kansas, and Roberta Robertson, Allen; one brother, Edward "Pete" Robertson, Louisburg, Missouri; four sisters, Louwilda Fay "Billie" Goekler, Porum, Cora "Hoochie" Cresswell, Peoria, Arizona, Mary Jean McDaniel, Eufaula, and Joyce June Stutte, Bella Vista, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Lori Roundtree, Bobby Dean Miller, Jr., Robert Hunter, Kendra Johnston, and Jake Gibson; and three great grandchildren, Brittany Roundtree, Brooklyn Roundtree, and Lindsey Hunter.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Sue Barker, and two infant brothers.
Bearers will be Don Woods, Don Kerr, David Kindrick, Robert Hunter, Don Johnson, and Denver Johnson.
