ADA-Services for Bemon Burl Laughlin, Jr., 65, Ada, are 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Criswell Chapel, Rev. Jay Keel officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Laughlin died on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born February 27, 1944, at Jacksonville, Texas, to Bemon Burl Laughlin Sr. and Lorena Lantz Laughlin. He lived in this area all his life and graduated from Byng. He also attended East Central University. He was self-employed as a plumber and was a member of the NRA.
He married Susan Bogard on April 10, 1963, in Konawa, Oklahoma.
Survivors include his former wife, Susan Burdett, Moore; six sons, Scott Laughlin, Moore; Tim Laughlin, Edmond; Rick Laughlin, Bethany; Mike Laughlin, Oklahoma City; Jacob Laughlin, Woodward; and Joshua Laughlin, Purcell; one sister, Billie Stephens, Lewisville, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Estell Drew, Daphna King and Glendean Higgenbotham; and a granddaughter, Emily Laughlin.
