BELNARD DECAMP
TUPELO-Services for Belnard Lavern DeCamp, 77, of Tupelo, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Tupelo, Rev. Clint Galbreath will officiate.
Mr. DeCamp died Friday, September 27, 2013 at an Ada hospital. He was born January 15, 1936 in Superior, Wyoming to Fred Hal and Ethel Brice DeCamp. He and his family moved to Lehigh when he was a child. He attended Lehigh grade school and graduated from Coalgate High School.
He married Mary Patricia Smith on June 30, 1956. Mr. DeCamp had been employed as a truck driver, construction worker and also with the Chickasaw Nation. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tupelo and had served in the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Pat DeCamp, of the home; two sons, Cody Hal DeCamp of Lexington, and Belnard Lavern DeCamp, Jr. of Tishomingo; a daughter, Patricia Ann Atkinson of Ada; brother, Will R. Maine of Harrah; and two grandchildren, Cody B. L. DeCamp of Georgia, and Adam Atkinson of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, William Atkinson.
