BEATRICE QUICK

ADA-Graveside services for Beatrice Penrod Quick, 80, Ada, are 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood and Hardy Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, August 20th, at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Quick died on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at her home in Ada. She was born January 27, 1930, in Ada to Luke and Lou Marie Palmer Penrod. She graduated from Vanoss High School, and received her bachelor and masters degrees from East Central University, Ada, in Education. She taught reading for nine years at Vanoss Elementary School, owned the Arbuckle Restaurant in Sulphur, and the Kettle Restaurant on Lake Texoma. She retired in 1998.

Survivors include 2 sons, Bobby Cameron and his wife Barbara, Norman; and Darryl Jaquess and his wife Lorna, Phoenix, Arizona; 2 daughters, June Poindexter and her husband Carson, Ada; and Debbie Welty, Ada; 1 brother, Bob Penrod, Ada; 1 sister, Dorothy Bieghle, Yukon; 9 grandchildren, Brent Cameron, Warren Cameron, Michelle Bottoms, Jaime Brandt, Bryan Trantham, Kim Trantham, Aaron Trantham, Paityn Jaquess and Makenzie Jaquess; 12 great grandchildren, Bryan Luke Trantham, Kamden Beasley, Aris Brandt, Courtney Bottoms, Casey Bottoms, Blake Bottoms, Madison Cameron, Blake Cameron, Justin Cameron, Adain Cameron and Carson Cameron; and 2 great great grandchildren, Tayven Bottoms and Keynle Bottoms. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. C. Quick; her parents, Luke and Lou Marie Penrod; 1 son, Rodney Cameron; 3 brothers, J. L. Penrod, Lester Penrod, Buck Penrod and Lowel Penrod; and 1 sister, Gertrude Jackson.
