BARBARA PATTERSON
Services for Barbara Jeneay (Sanders) Patterson, 58, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Jesse Cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson died Friday, October 19, 2012, at a local nursing home. She was born February 13, 1954 in Ada, Oklahoma to Stanley Sanders and Anna Bernice Whittington Sanders. She graduated from Byng High School in 1972 and received her ATI – CNA license.
She married David Patterson on January 7, 2007 at Cleburne, Texas. Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker and worked as a CNA and medical receptionist. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband, David, of Cleburne, Texas; a son, James Owens and wife Trina of Ft. Worth, Texas; two daughters, Reneay Smith and husband Aaron of Ada, Sarah Warren of Benbrook, Texas; father and step-mother, Stanley and Patty Sanders of Ada; two step-sons, Chris Patterson and Paul Patterson of Cleburne, Texas; two step-daughters, Donna Kyle and Lacey Patterson of Joshua, Texas; a brother, Stanley Sanders and wife Brenda of Fulshear, Texas; a sister, Tonna Etier and husband Dewayne of Weatherford, Texas; two step-brothers, Curtis Blevins and wife Lisa of Ada, Kent Blevins and wife DeeAnn of Ada; five grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Bernice Whittington Sanders; grandparents, Emit and Ethel Sanders and W.W. "Bill" and Bessie Whittington.
Bearers will be Curtis Blevins, Dewayne Etier, Aaron Smith, Mark Davis, Ron Higgs and Don Higgs.
