LaVoise May

Graveside services for Barbara LaVoise May, 79, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Jesse Cemetery, Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate.

Mrs. May died Friday, May 18, 2018 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born June 19, 1938 in Stonewall to Harvey Luther "Luke" and Mary Russell Hatton.  She graduated from Stonewall High School.

She married Freddie Merl May on July 30, 1956 in Ada. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2015.  Mrs. May was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Gary May of Houston, and Michael May and Robin Moore of Stonewall; a granddaughter, Meagan May of Ada; a sister, Marquetta McMillan and husband Carl of Ada; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by the parents; her husband, Freddie May; a brother, Eldon Hatton, and a sister Edith Hatton.
