BARBARA JONES
ADA-Services for Barbara Ellen Rogers Jones, 65, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Ada, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Ms. Jones died Monday, November 26, 2012 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born August 5, 1947 in Midland, Texas to William Cody "Bill" and Barbara Ruth Armstrong Rogers. She graduated from Grandfalls, Texas High School in 1965 and then she and her family moved here to Ada in 1965.
Ms. Jones was an administrative assistant secretary at the Monte Vista Academy in Ada and she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jody Beth Ade and her husband, Ryan D. Ade of Frederick, OK; a son, Tyler Phillip Jones and his wife Jennifer of Valliant, OK; her mother, Ruth Rogers of Ada; a brother, Cody Rogers and his wife Connie, Hot Springs, AR; sister, Kelly Payne and her husband Steve, Union Valley, OK; and four grandchildren, Ellie Ade, Aryn Ade, Jillian Jones and Jordyn Jones.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Rogers; and a brother, Curt Rogers.
