BARBARA CASADY
LATTA-Services for Barbara Ann Casady, 82, of Latta, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, Rev. Gary Jamar, Rev. John Henry Lippard, and Matt Cooley will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Casady died Monday, April 28, 2014 at her home. She was born April 16, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma to Raymond and Donnie Boring Robbins. She graduated from Latta High School in 1950.
She married Clyde Lee Casady on May 16, 1949. She was a homemaker and part of the Latta Home Demonstration Club for many years. Mrs. Casady and her husband owned and operated Casady Dairy in Latta. She was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde, of the home; one daughter, Pam Kite and her husband Don; one son, Mike Casady and his wife Joy; five granddaughters, Angie Pettigrew and husband Wayne, Holly Williams and her husband Joe, Chrishan Cooley and her husband Matt, Melisha Sutton and her husband Josh, and Chenae Lippard and her husband John Henry, all of Latta; nine great granddaughters, Casady Burns, Libby Williams, Mattie and Caton Cooley, Autumn and Kylee Sutton, Ashton and Alesha Traylor, and Adisyn Lippard; three nieces, Deidra Fulton, Kay Robbins Wall, and Marsha Sherbert; one nephew, Trevor Robbins; and two close friends, Fran Cantwell and Lou Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Olen Robbins and Floyd Robbins; one sister, Ollie Mae Fulton; a niece, Diane Burrows and a nephew, Steve Fulton.
Bearers will be Wayne Pettigrew, Joe Williams, Matt Cooley, Josh Sutton, John Henry Lippard, and Trevor Robbins. Honorary bearers will be Donald Price, Eldon Lee, Elmer Gerth, and Garvin Glover.
