Barbara Allen

Services for Barbara Jean Allen, 83, of Wynnewood, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Darryl Simmons will officiate. A Committal Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 18 ^th at the Merit Cemetery in Merit, TX. Rev. Jim Corbet will officiate.

Mrs. Allen passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at an Ada nursing home. She was born September 26, 1936 at Hickory, OK to Fred and Pearl Bradley Ozbirn.

She married Donald D. Allen January 25, 1969. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Allen was a Produce Manager for Skaggs-Albertson Grocery Store in the Dallas area for over 37 years.

Survivors include a son, Richard Byers, Wynnewood; sister, Freda Ozbirn, Sulphur; two brothers, Carl Ozbirn and wife Darlene, Sulphur and Lonnie Ozbirn and wife Julie, Sulphur; two half-brothers, Chris Ozbirn and wife Jackie, Winters, TX and Don Ozbirn, Abilene, TX; two half-sisters, Cindy Barrow, Ballenger, TX and Betty Bailey, Winters, TX; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Norma Williams; and a half-brother, Gary Ozbirn.

The family requests masks be worn at the service, due to COVID.
