ARTHUR MCQUEEN
ADA-Services for Arthur McQueen, 67, of Ada, are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Grace Christian Fellowship Church, Revs. Vernal West and Kenny Morrison will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. McQueen died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born April 24, 1946 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Edward and Lillie Taylor McQueen.
He married Remona L. Barlow on November 24, 2003 in Ada. Mr. McQueen was a dishwasher for Pizza Hut Restaurant in Ada and a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Remona McQueen, of the home; a brother, Oscar McQueen of Muskogee; two sisters, LaNiela McQueen and LaVeenya McQueen, both of Muskogee; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Ramona Barnes of Ada; and his DJK family and other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Bearers will be Damien Greenlee, Terry Sanders, Kenyon Vaughn, Chris Reed, Cedric Bell and Jason Byrd. Honorary bearers will be Gabe FeFlore, Elwood Herrick and Joe Barnes.
