TOM MARTIN
CENTRAHOMA-Services for Arthur Tom Martin, 80, Centrahoma, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Boggs will officiate. Burial will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery.
Mr. Martin died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at an Ada hospital. He was born February 24, 1930 in St. Louis, Oklahoma to Oren and Lavonia B. Brown Martin. He attended St. Louis schools.
He married Edith Lorraine Croy in 1953. She preceded him in death January 19, 1991 in California. Mr. Martin and his family moved to Centrahoma in 1976 from Salinas, California. He was owner and operator of a backhoe and grading company in California and Oklahoma. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Jean Stukes, Ada, Julie Davis and husband Johnny, Centrahoma, and Sherri Doughty and husband Lee, Hollister, CA; one son, Thomas Everett Martin, Centrahoma; grandchildren, Gary Martin, John Davis, Jennifer Davis, Kristi Morse, Heather Martin, Kelley Doughty, Alicia Martin, Danielle Martin and Sierra Martin; one great grandson, Seth Davis; two sisters, Juanita Gallo, CA, and Donna McMahan, OR; and three brothers, Harold Martin, OR, James Martin, NV, and Dean Martin, CA.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Martin and Leon Martin; two sisters, Lois Shreffler Nelson, and Opal Jayne; and a daughter, Pamela Ruth Martin.
