Memorial services for Arthur Frederick Chrissinger, 92, of Ada are 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2024 at Crosspointe Church.

Mr. Chrissinger passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at his daughter's home in Ada.  He was born January 3, 1932 in Winfield, Iowa to Roy Gilbert Chrissinger and Vivian Marie Aronhalt.  He was later raised by his step-father William Dockendorff.

On October 24, 1953 he married JoAnna Lou Fleagle in Winfield, Iowa.  He taught for over 50 years, 30 at Rim of the World High School and then in Yucaipa, CA and later in Coon Rapids, Iowa. He also, served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnna of the home; two daughters, Deanna Patterson and husband Michael of Laurel, Mississippi and Lisa Waggoner and husband Mark of Ada; five grandchildren, Kimberly Wire of Bakersfield, CA, James Michael Patterson of Hattiesburg, MS, Bethany Droullard of Pollock Pines, CA, Sarah Lindhe of Yukon, OK and Hannah Simpson of Austin, TX; and 13 great grandchildren.

Mr. Chrissinger was preceded in death by his parents; step-father; two brothers, Everett Dean and Clarence Gilbert; and grandson, Caleb Lawrence Waggoner.
