Arletta Good

Graveside services for Arletta Levora Good, 89, formerly of Ada will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery; Rev. Brian Matthews will officiate.

Arletta passed away March 11, 2025, in Colorado.  She was born November 5, 1935, in Ada to Johnie and Jessie King McNair.  In 1957, she married David Good and they lived in numerous destinations during David's career in the cement industry.

Within a seven-year span, she and David welcomed one daughter and two sons into the world.  Their family has since grown to include two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

When her children where young she enjoyed sewing.  As they grew older, she ventured into out-of-home work.  Her administrative and accounting skills translated into various positions.  Her favorite job was in the student loan department of a bank in Ada.

After retirement, Arletta spent hours exploring the world of genealogy.  Two major outcomes included acceptance into the Colonial Dames and Daughters of the American Revolution organizations.

Arletta's lifetime accomplishments are numerous.  However, it was her gifts of encouragement, availability and listening that were most treasured.  She also baked an unsurpassed pecan pie.
