Arlan Wilson

Services for Arlan Cecil Wilson, 80, of Gerty are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Gerty; Rev. Walter Kuhlman and Roger Cupps will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Allen Chapel.

Mr. Wilson passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home.  He was born April 13, 1945, in Holdenville to Clarence Clifford and Cleo Marie Phillips Wilson.  Mr. Wilson graduated from Gerty High School in 1964 and was a welder until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Norva of the home; son, Dale Stringer of Gerty; three daughters, Rhonda Cupps and husband Roger of Allen, Shana Allison and husband Heath of Allen, and Kimberly Dalinger and close friend, William Mitchell of Gerty; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clifford and Olen.

Bearers are Kobi Cupps, Micah Stringer, Caleb Roberson, Canaan Roberson, Joshua Roberson, Ronnie Spurlock, and Tim Williams.  Honorary bearers are Lynn Tollett, Tony Thompson, Gerty Class of 1964, and Clem Tollett.
