CARROLLTON, TEXAS-Services for Annie Lorene Jones, 85, Carrollton, Texas, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mickey Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Monday, November 2, 2009 at a Carrollton, Texas nursing home. She was born August 22, 1924 at Ada, Oklahoma to Henry Clarence and Edna Sales French.
She married Earnest Ralph Jones on November 4, 1941 at Ada, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2003 in Ada. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and also worked in retail clothing until her retirement. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Evangelistic Temple, which is now Crosspointe Church in Ada.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Ralph Jones, Ada; a daughter, Barbara Ann Smith, Carrollton, TX; three grandsons, Chris Smith, Kelly Smith and George Jones; and three great grandchildren, Emily Smith, Sarah Smith, and Lauren Smith.
