ANNA HARRISON
Anna Renaye Young Dorsey Harrison moved to Ada, Oklahoma from Bearden, Arkansas at 17 years old. She married the father of her three children and while their marriage only lasted 18 years, she remained a devoted mother and amazing grandmother, spoiling her five grandchildren.
She married Garry Harrison in 1997. During their marriage, she attended LPN school at Pontotoc Technology Center while pursuing her career at McCall's Chapel.
Our mother's main goal in life was to let all of her loved ones know how important they were to her. Although her second marriage only lasted 16 years, she never lost the love in her heart for our father and step-father.
She is survived by her three children, Kelley Miller, Charles Dorsey, Casondra Dorsey; five grandchildren, Jerrika Bonner, Triston Bonner, Christopher Miller, Armani Robinson and Junior Robinson; several nieces and nephews; her mother, Shirley Lackey Young; her brothers, Thomas Ray Young and Perry Young; her son-in-laws, Timothy Miller, who dedicated the last seven weeks to taking care of her, and spoiling her 24 hours a day; and LouQuinncey "Pooh" Robinson, who spent several weekends over the last few years cooking for my mom and spoiling her on her trips to visit Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her extended family that she doted on daily out at McCall's Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Young and a brother, John "Sonny" Young.
She was a dedicated and loving nurse who spent most of her time caring for her clients. She touched a lot of hearts and was very expressive of her feelings for the one's she held in her heart.
She was loved by many and she will be missed greatly.
