JOSIE ROLLINS

NORMAN-Private family services for Anna Josephine "Josie" Rollins, 70, of Norman will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Rollins died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at her daughter's home in Ada. She was born November 16, 1938 at Corbet, Oklahoma to Walter C. and Polly Ann Slaughter Berry. She graduated from Noble High School and attended business college in Oklahoma City.

She married Don Lee Rollins. He preceded her in death in March, 2006. Mrs. Rollins was a social worker for the Cleveland County Department of Human Services for over 20 years. She was an active member of the Alameda Church of Christ in Norman.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Rollins and wife Robin, Ada, and Jimmy Rollins and wife Elizabeth, Noble; one daughter, Jena Tignor and husband Jimmy, Ada; two sisters, Nettie Tamez, Noble and Katherine Dodge, Washington; eight grandchildren, Jenni, Josh, Jimmy Lee, Jimmy Don, Jeb, Anna, Tessa, and Tad; six great grandchildren, Kaleb, Raylee, Max, Jett, Reid and Sofie.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Ada Family Hospice Foundation, 117 S. Broadway, Ada, OK 74820.
