ANNA FOSTER

ADA-Services for Anna Jane Foster, 99, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jasper Ligon will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Foster died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born January 19, 1909 at Arkansas to Thomas and Gertrude Goetz Cox. She attended Arkansas schools.

She married Teal Foster in 1928. He died November 10, 1970 in Ada. Mrs. Foster was a former employee of J. C. Penney Company. She was an avid bingo player, square dancer and an avid fisherman at Buncombe Creek at Lake Texoma.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Oakes, Allen Park, Michigan; two daughters-in-law, Joyce Foster, Ada, and Sandra Foster, Lubbock, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Foster and David Foster and a daughter-in-law, Jean Foster.

Bearers will be Shane Foster, Mike Foster, Tom Cranford, Greg Foster, and Luke Penrod.
