ANNA COOK

ALLEN-Services for Anna Lou Cook, 81, Allen are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, Revs. Buddy Drake and Greg Joki will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Cook died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at an Allen nursing home. She was born February 20, 1928 at Allen, Oklahoma to Fred and Esther Cox Royer. She attended Allen schools.

She married Dan Cook on November 30, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1992 at Allen. Mrs. Cook was a seamstress and homemaker and a member of the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn A. Summers and husband Johnny, Allen, Joyce K. Cook, Allen, and Sue Greene and husband Ray, Ocala, Florida; one son, Kenneth B. Cook and wife Linda, Caddo; three sisters, Winnie Estes, Fresno, California, June Vinson, Allen, and Jo Walden, Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren, Melissa Ross, Becky Hefley, Tracy McKaughan, Bonnie Marcy, Greg Cook, Raeanne Greene, and Katie Greene; and eleven great grandchildren.

Bearers will be Bill Hefley, Mike Ross, Larry Marcy, Derek Ross, Donnie Sanders, Taylor Ross, Dalton Loggains, Greg Cook, Zack Hefley and Rylan Hefley. Honorary bearers will be Frank Griffith, Lindsay Camp, Glen Maxwell, Lynn Tyson, H. C. Spain, and Jim Nix.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 407 E. Lexington, Allen, Oklahoma 74825.
