ANN CASS

ADA-Services for Annie Belle "Ann" Cass, 89, of Shawnee, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.

Mrs. Cass died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at a Shawnee nursing home. She was born November 3, 1924 in Ada, Oklahoma to Pink E. and May Belle Davis Ellison. She attended Ada schools.

She married L. M. Cass on November 3, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1997 in Ada. Mrs. Cass was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company here in Ada and later in Oklahoma City. She retired after 40 years of service. Mrs. Cass was a member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church in Ada.

Survivors include two daughters, Doris Taylor of Shawnee, and Marylin "MiMi" Ramer of Oklahoma City; one son, Ben Cass and wife Beth Anne of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and 3 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Frances, Faye, Hazel and Margaret; and a brother, Bud.
