Anita Ray
Services for Anita Fay Ray, 83, of Ada, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Chickasaw Community Center. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Macomb.
Ms. Ray passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026, at her home. She was born September 30, 1942, in Macomb to Wilbur and Mabel Waldrup Hughes.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Orphan; daughter, Marcella Thompson; brother, Larry Hughes and wife, Carolyn; sister, Juanita Bourne and husband, Don; grandson, Mark Wade and wife, Maia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Thompson; brothers, Doyle Hughes and George Hughes; and sister, Ramona Bourne.
