ADA-Services for Angie Marie Jackson, 26, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Corley Cemetery. A Wake service will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at the home, 16877CR 3482 in Ada.
Ms. Jackson died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born June 3, 1982 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Donald Ray Jackson, Sr. and Helen Marie Postoak Jackson. She attended Byng and Latta schools and East Central University in 2004. She was pursuing a degree at Metro College for Electrical Engineering. Ms. Jackson was proud of her Choctaw/Creek/Cherokee decent. She was a Bear Clan and affiliated with the Arbeka Stompground. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheyenne Johnson, Sky Johnson and Isabelle Garcia; a son, Micco Johnson, all of the home; her parents, Ray and Helen Jackson, Ada; two sisters, Denise Williams and husband Shane, Ada, and Dianne Jackson, Oklahoma City; three brothers, Ben Jackson, Ada, Pvt. Donald Jackson and wife Julie, Ada, and Pvt. Wesley Jackson, Ada, currently serving in Iraq; her paternal grandfather, Ruben Freeman, Sr., Sand Springs; four nieces; five nephews, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
She was preceded in death by an unborn child, maternal grandparents, William and Ruby Postoak of Stratford, and paternal grandmother, Bessie Freeman, Sand Springs.
Bearers will be Eugene Postoak, Tim Postoak, Eddie Postoak, John Porter, Shane Williams, Joey Hardison, Stephen Thompson, and Bryan Wyatt. Honorary bearers will be Heliodoro Garcia, Ryan Freeman, Jon Freeman, Justin Jackson, John Howard Jackson, Donald Givens, Ronnie Harjo, William Ahhaitty, Ronald Ahhaitty, and Jeremy Johnson.
