ANDREW CHAMBERS
ROFF-Services for Andrew Lloyd Chambers, 66, Roff, are at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Mr. Chambers died Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Texas. He was born June 21, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma to Marion Jasper and Delora Powell Chambers. He lived in this area all his life, attended Vanoss, Fitzhugh and Roff schools and graduated from Roff High School in 1962.
Mr. Chambers was a truck driver for Cyclone Trucking for 16 years, and later drove for Heartland Trucking Company, and was presently driving for Stephen's Trucking Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roff, and had served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Roff Fire Department for twenty years.
Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Boatright and her husband Don, Roff and Doris Reed and her husband Van, Ada; a brother, Frank Chambers, Davis; nieces and nephews, Keisha Brewer, Kim Ward, Kristy Sagebeil, B. J. Anglin, D'Ann Wyche, and Will Chambers; and a sister-in-law, Linda Chambers Rodrigo, Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alvin Chambers.
Bearers will be Jimmy Standifer, Sonny Phillips, Randy Stephens, Sonny Lindsey, Harold Sheppard and Charlie Sheppard. Honorary bearers will be his "Domino Buddies", Jodie Young, Murl Phillips, Gene Phillips, Billy Ray Williams, Shorty Curtis and Jeremy Grissom.
