Andrea Rue
Services for Andrea Denice Rue, 44, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel and following at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the West Liberty Baptist Church, Rev. Mike Walker will officiate. Burial will follow at West Liberty Cemetery, north of Quinton, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Rue died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born October 2, 1970 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Jimmy Hayes and Phyllis Dean Mills Eakle. She graduated from Quinton High School and received her Bachelor of Social Work from East Central University.
She married Stacey Rue on February 14, 1997 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Rue was employed with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services as an adoption field supervisor, over twenty-two counties.
She was survived by her husband, Stacey Rue of the home; two sons, Jordan Huggins and Peyton Huggins of Ada; one daughter, Jessica Rue of Ada; her parents, Jim and Phyllis Eakle of Quinton, Oklahoma; grandmother, Leola Mills of Quinton, Oklahoma; step-grandfather, Jim Cravens of Keota, Oklahoma; a niece, Jamie Lynn Sullins and husband Jayce of Spiro, Oklahoma; four nephews, Jimmy Dennis Eakle, Todd Martin and wife Megan, Drue Martin and wife Bambi Martin, Rance Rue and wife Michelle; one sister-in-law, Melanie Eakle of Quinton, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Otherine Rue of Ada; sister-in-law, Gae Vonne Martin of Ada and brother-in-law, Rudy Rue of Ada.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Eakle; grandparents, John Mills, Louise Cravens and Glendon Eakle and father-in-law, L.B. Rue.
Bearers will be Todd Martin, Drue Martin, Stan Strain, Brad Strain, Coy Michael Few and Jimmy Dennis Eakle. Honorary bearers will be her co-workers.
The family says those who wish may make memorial to the Baptist Children's Home, 3800 N. May, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73112.
