AMY LOU HALL
STONEWALL-Services for Amy Lou Hall, 84, of Stonewall, are 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 15th at the Stonewall First Baptist Church, Rev. Richard Dickerson and Leon Dennis will officiate. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery near Clarita. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14th at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hall died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at an Ada nursing home. She was born March 9, 1929 in Bitterwater, California to Timothy Nessen and Marie Angeline Zoellin Schmidt.
She married Auddie Russell Hall on June 13, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1998. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and the manager of Hall's Auto Supply and Hardware, Inc. in Stonewall for many years. She and her husband also owned and operated Hall's Dairy. Mrs. Hall was affiliated with Stonewall First Baptist Church. She was known as "Bama" to her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Rod Hall and his wife, Dr. Catherine Hall of Norman, Ron Hall and his wife Janice of Stonewall, Marietta Carter and her husband Marvin of Ada, Julie Scott and her husband David of Stonewall, and Tim Hall and his wife Paula of Stonewall; two brothers, Bob Schmidt of Hollister, CA, and Jeff Schmidt and wife Jean of Bitterwater, CA; 10 grandchildren, Mandy Waters and Matt Carter, both of Ada, Joe Hall, Amarillo, TX, Lindsay Rodkey, Bloomington, IN; Mark Hall, Las Vegas, NV, Adam Hall and Megan Carter, both of Ada, Greg Scott, Edinburgh, Scotland, Rachel Melton, Stonewall, and Bryan Scott, Ada; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Claire Schmidt, Lloyd Schmidt, Charlie Schmidt, Joe Schmidt, and Jack Schmidt; and four sisters, Alyce Bengard, Grace Bray, Faye Franscioni and Margaret Carroll.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Matt Carter, Joe Hall, Mark Hall, Adam Hall, Greg Scott and Bryan Scott. Honorary bearers will be Jerod Waters, Chris Snell, Derek Melton and Cameron Carter.
