IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Amanda
Webb
August 27, 1982 – October 16, 2025
Amanda Webb
On October 16th at 1:38 in the morning at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Amanda Jean Webb was released from her suffering and departed this world.
Amanda was born August 27th, 1982 to Colin and Jana Webb. She was their first child, and the first granddaughter not just for Herman and Charlotte, her mother's parents, but also for Tom and Carol, her father's parents. She was a bright baby and was always in a good mood. She was funny, cheerful, and endlessly loved as a child. She had a special bond in particular with her Grandma Charlotte who cared for her as a baby. In 1990 her 'sissy' Lauren was born, whom she loved dearly and helped raise. Amanda began showing signs of illness at 12, and by 15 was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Despite this Amanda was a good student, a better friend, and a very gifted artist. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian Academy in 2001 and attended East Central University Class of 2005 on an art scholarship until her illness prevented her studies. In 2005 she was wed to Malcom Potts of Pennsylvania, and was blessed with three beautiful children. Upon their divorce in 2012 Amanda and her children moved to Ada where she resided until her passing. In August of 2024 a surgical complication started a pattern of hospitalizations and care facilities. She fought to stay with her children every step of the way until she could fight no more, and surrounded by her family, Amanda moved on from this world.
She leaves behind her children Hunter, Austin, and Kathryne; her parents Colin and Jana, her sister Lauren and her brother in law Asher; her grandparents Herman and Charlotte; many many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and countless friends all over the globe. She will be remembered as a truly uniquely unafraid individual that marched to the beat of her own drum. She was admired for her strength, courage of conviction, and her rebellious spirit.
We will say goodbye to Amanda Sunday October 26th at 3:30 pm at Central Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to the go fund me setup for her children's college expenses or to Compassion Outreach Center.
