ADA-Services for Alma Lee Burk, 92, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burk died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at a local nursing home. She was born Feb. 9, 1920, to Ben and Laura Edna Bundy Hunter at Lena, OK. She graduated from Vamoosa High School and was employed as a sales clerk at C.R. Anthony in Shawnee for 25 years. She was also employed at Douglas Aircraft in Oklahoma City and was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
Mrs. Burk and Linnie Oliver Burk were married Oct. 9, 1941. He died Feb. 15, 1999.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Lynch, Arlington, TX; two grandchildren, Steve Lynch and wife Angie, Grand Prairie, TX, and Melissa McConnell and husband Curtis, Midlothian, TX; three great-grandchildren, Courtney Lynch, Chad Lynch and Caitlyn Lynch; two brothers, Clinton Earl Hunter and wife Donita, Kerrville, TX, and Bobby Hunter and wife Billie, Greenville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Chester H. Hunter; and a sister-in-law, Priscilla Hunter.
Bearers will be Tom Stephens, Burr Harris, Don Butler, Ed Poblete and Charles Barrick.
