Graveside services for Jewel Aline Little, 97, of Corinth, TX, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, OK, Mr. Don Sayre will officiate. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.

Mrs. Little died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at a Denton care center.  She was born September 1, 1923 in Neshoba, OK to M. L. and Beulah Harwell Butler. She graduated from Clayton High School.

She married Ira Little, Jr. December 27, 1944 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death January 17, 2018. Mrs. Little graduated from East Central University with a bachelor's degree in Education. She was a longtime teacher serving early on in communities of Wayne, Criner and Parks, OK, then Modesto, CA and Tulsa, Okmulgee, and Moore, OK. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Retired Oklahoma Educators.

Survivors include her son, Ira Little, III and wife Linda Sue of Corinth, TX; two granddaughters, Julie Duran and husband Jason and Melanie Smith and husband Des; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Noah, Hannah and Emma Duran; and a sister, Maxine Tingle

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Fred and Harold Butler.
