ALICE CRISP
ADA-Services for Alice Crisp, 81, of Ada, are 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Swan Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Crisp died Friday, December 27, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born December 12, 1932 to Virgil and Alice Kelly Wallgren. She graduated from Stratford.
She married Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Crisp on March 3, 1952. He preceded in death on March 21, 2010. Mrs. Crisp was a homemaker, and later became a cashier at John A. Brown Department Store, and later managed a gift shop in Norman, Oklahoma.
Survivors include one son, David Crisp of Ada; one daughter, Alicia Smith and her husband Ted of Ada; two brothers, Louis Wallgren and his wife Lucy of Cibelo, Texas, and Gus Wallgren and his wife Joy of Burleson, TX; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Crisp of Ada, Conner Smith of Ada, Matt and Emily Smith, and John and Makensy Smith; sister-in-law, Barbara Wallgren; and four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter-in-law, Earlene Crisp; and two brothers, Glen and Virgil Wallgren.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Jeffrey Crisp, Matt Smith and Conner Smith; and John Paul Townsend and Jeremy Pippenger.
