Alan Waters, Jr.

Services for Alan Monroe Waters, Jr., 59, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Ware will officiate.

Mr. Waters passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at his parent's home. He was born July 7, 1959 at Ada to Alan Monroe and Mary Lynn Jumper Waters. He graduated from Ada High School in 1977. He also graduated from East Central University.

Mr. Waters was a Certified Public Accountant working at Price-Waterhouse after graduation before working in Hawaii for 12 years for Pepsi Co, Inc. and Planet Hollywood. He moved back to Ada in 2002 and was employed by Tornado Alley Turbo, Inc. and Gami. He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Ada.

Survivors include his parents, Alan and Mary Waters, of Ada; a daughter, Alani Waters, Denver, CO; two sisters, Janet Humphrey and husband Steve and Julie White and husband Glenn, all of Ada; three nieces and one nephew; seven great-nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Monroe and Ethel Waters; and maternal grandparents, Buck and Adelle Shoptaugh.
