Alan Bergey

No services are planned at this time for Alan James Bergey, 87, of Stonewall. Mr. Bergey passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Sulphur.  He was born May 28, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA to Matthew Stanley and Anna Susanna Grisack Bergey, Sr.

On October 6, 1964, he married Madeline Ann "Penny" Foreman in Philadelphia, PA.  He was an auto mechanic and roofer until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Penny of the home; two sons, Alan James Bergey, Jr. and Matthew Stanley Bergey; daughter, Mary Bergey Heath and husband Dennis; two stepsons, James Joseph Foremen and Patrick Foreman; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Marc Anthony Bergey and James William Bergey; and two brothers, Matthew Stanley Bergey, Jr. and Ronald Charles Bergey.
