BEA BROWNEN

OWL CREEK-Services for Addie Beatrice "Bea" Brownen, 85, Owl Creek are 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Faith Assembly of God Church, Bro. Johnny Rolen and Rev. Greg Pollard will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.

Mrs. Brownen died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her home. She was born April 20, 1924 at Ada, Oklahoma to John and Julia Underwood Richardson. She attended Owl Creek schools.

She married Leon Brownen on November 1, 1946 at Ada, Oklahoma. She and her family moved to California in 1954 and later moved back to Owl Creek in 1985. Mrs. Brownen was employed with Sees Candy Company in Los Angeles, California. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Ada.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Brownen, of the home; three daughters, Beverly Harris and husband Michael, Francis, Laquita Wilson and husband Larry, Boron, California, and Sharen Julian, Rancho Murieta, California; one son, Larry Brownen and wife, Kathy, Winton, California; a step-daughter, Judy Smith and husband Bill, Taylor, Arizona; two sisters, Mary Jo Byrd, Owl Creek and Jessie Sanford and husband Cleo, Madill; one brother, Johnny Richardson and wife Stella, Ada; a sister-in-law, Shirley Richardson, Ada; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, L. D. Richardson.

Bearers will be Bobby Julian, Jimmy Julian, Cody Patton, Shane Howard and Stevie Wilson. Honorary bearers will be Paul Patton and Riley Patton.
