A.D. BYERS
ADA-Services for A. D. Byers, 70, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Chapel, Revs. Jimmy Hoffman and Dennis Tate officiating. Burial follows at Hickory Cemetery.
Mr. Byers died on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born January 31, 1938, at Hickory to Henry "Mutt" and Susie Stidham Byers. He graduated from Hickory High School and worked in the construction industry as a carpenter and concrete contractor. He was a member of Homer Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Marvin Byers and wife Barbara, Ada; five sisters, Betty Gentry and husband Jerry, Norman; Lois Huddleston and husband Richard (Peck) Huddleston, Tulsa; Kate Hart and husband Dwight, Ada; Linda Chambers-Rodorigo and husband Frank, Ada; and Donna Hampton and husband Hershel, Tulsa; six nieces and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry "Mutt Byers and Susie Stidham Byers, and a brother-in-law, Alvin Chambers.
